Playbooks assume a version of you
Every system you’ve bought assumed an owner who follows through in week six. Nobody sold you a way to check whether that’s you. This measures it before you spend another cent on implementation.
The Behavioural Performance Index measures how you actually run your business — 150 items, 25 traits, 15 capabilities. Then it hands each one back with a single decision attached, and a ninety-day plan that names what to test first.
There’s no free version. A partial result is a worse product than no result, so we show you the instrument and the method up front and back the report with a refund.
Nothing is stored and nothing is sent. This is only to show you something about how these cluster.
Most owners tick between four and six. The interesting part isn’t how many — it’s that they almost never come from nine separate causes.

Most tools profile you when nothing’s on fire. A whole section of this instrument measures you on the worst week of the quarter — which is where the business actually gets decided.
The report explains what to protect, improve or hand over, and sets out the next steps across ninety days. It is deliberately not fifteen things at once.
Three illustrative examples of the situations the instrument explores. If these don’t feel like they’re about your business, don’t buy it.
The instrument, the scoring method and the working papers behind them are published by the Institute. The science isn’t the paid part — the report written to your own answers is.
When someone on my team does a job to 80% of my standard, I redo it rather than send it back.
By Thursday afternoon, the work I have left is the work I’ve been avoiding all week.
In the worst week I’ve had this year, I stopped asking for input and started making calls on my own.
You buy, you answer, you read. No account to set up first — one is created against the email you pay with.

Three sections — behaviour, energy, pressure — across 11 pages. Save and come back as often as you like.
Scored deterministically, written to your own pattern, checked automatically and delivered to your account. We email you when it is ready.
Pilot operators are working through the index now. When they’ve read their reports, what they say goes here — in their words, with their businesses named, and only if they agree to it.
Until then this space stays empty. A new product with a page of glowing anonymous quotes is telling you something, and it isn’t what it thinks.
150 items across 11 pages. Stop and resume any time.
You pay up front — there’s no trial, and a sales page can’t prove a report is about you. So the judgement that counts happens after the PDF lands. If it doesn’t describe how you run your business, reply to the delivery email within 14 days and the $199 comes back in full. A refund removes access to that report in your account. Copies you have already downloaded cannot be recalled. Refund policy.
No. Every number is calculated by a fixed set of rules — the same answers always produce the same traits, the same capabilities and the same allocations. A language model writes the explanatory prose only, and it is structurally prevented from touching a figure. The scoring rules carry a published checksum, so a change to how your report is calculated is a visible event rather than something you find out about by accident.
No. Personality tests describe who you are. The BPI measures what you actually do in the situations that run a business — enforcing a standard, handing something over, deciding under load. Two owners with identical personality profiles routinely come out with different allocations.
Because a partial result is worse than none. A handful of capabilities tells you something is wrong without telling you what to do about it, which is the part you came for. Instead we show you illustrative examples from the assessment, publish the method openly, and refund you if the report doesn’t land.
150 items across 11 pages. You don’t have to do it in one sitting — answers save as you go and you can pick up where you left off in the same browser.
Each of your 15 capabilities comes back carrying one decision: protect it, systemise it, delegate it, build it, or outsource it. The report explains what needs to be in place before you hand work over. The last section turns that into four windows across ninety days, each with an action, a named person, and what counts as evidence.
Right now the instrument is built for gym and fitness businesses — every one of the 150 items describes a situation from that world. Other sectors are being built one at a time rather than by swapping a few nouns. You can register interest and you’ll hear when yours is ready.
